(6.4)  C Major Scale Chords

The table below summarises the related chords we have discovered in the last two topics.

It shows the full set of chords of three, four and five notes built from alternate scale tones of C Major.

Using alternating notes is not the only technique for building related chords from a scale, although it is generally a good starting point.

We can also form related chords from any other combination of scale tones.  Here are few additional examples.
