Melodic Minor based chord progressions are less common. As mentioned before, the Melodic Minor scale is most often used as the basis for melodies, rather than chords.
Here is a couple of progressions though, to illustrate the sound of the harmonies which are produced by the C Melodic Minor scale.
A more useful set of related chords can be derived from the Harmonic Minor scale, shown in the following topics.
